As part of our adjustment to the COVID-19 lockdown, the Membership Committee has made the following changes to our Scholarship programs:
$250 CHRISTMAS SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS [Up to 8 to be awarded]:
We will accept applications for our Christmas School Scholarship until Sunday, May 31. These Scholarship awards will be active from June 1, 2020, through May 31, 2021. This should give all awardees ample time to schedule attendance at the school of their choice.
$500 HIGHER EDUCATION AWARDS [Up to 3 to be awarded]:
Applicants for the scholarship must be enrolled in a University, College, Community College, Trade School or qualified Job Retraining Program. This scholarship can be used for tuition, books, fees or any expenses related to the recipient’s continuing education and is paid directly to the recipient.
This scholarship application period will open on May 1 and close September 30, 2020. The details and application form are now available from our website (began April 30).
